Out to Sea

We are somewhere between St. Thomas & Puerto Rico right now our ETA into south Florida is Tuesday mid day.  4 days & 7 hours.  Don't worry we have all the modern amenities, internet, satellite tv, fresh food prepared daily by cheffy.  Hopefully the weather will stay as glorious as it is right now.

The nice thing about living on a boat is no packing.  That's right my friends everything is neatly put away in my mini American cherry & mahogany clad closet.  Seriously you should see the size of this closet...tiny!  Anyone interested in a tour of my cabin on board?

I will be packing when I arrive in Florida because I am heading to New York.  My gorgeous and talented young sister is about to add marathon running to her repertoire.  She is running her first half marathon & I can't wait to stand at the finish line to cheer her on.

Speaking of traveling have you read the uber stylish southern mama Julia's blog this past week?  She was out celebrating her anniversary and taking care of her sweet little angel so she invited some fabulous guest bloggers covering all things travel.  I have another post planned to gush about how fabulous Julia is but in the meantime go check out Posh by Julia Ryan Photography to get a taste.

Images from my favorite obsession.  Seriously I need an intervention.

Nautical State of Mind

Just got back from an airport drop off.  The Mister has a business meeting durning the St. Barth's Bucket and will be gone for 2 days.  I sadly had to stay put on the boat.

I am still in the Caribbean and have been doing a lot of sailing with friends when we are not busy with work.  I am feeling extra nautical these days, odd yes, considering my man & I  live and work on a boat.

I am super excited to be heading to Florida on Thursday! It's been over two years since we have been in the USA aside from a few quick visits.

How lovely is this post from Mrs. Lilien? I guess she has sailing on the mind too.
