Writing two blogs, my budding photography business, a full time job & a holiday in South America has proven to be quite the challenge for me. Houndstooth and Lace has definitely been put at the bottom of the priority list lately. I always wonder how anyone keeps up with full time jobs, full time blogging and full time life....any pointers would be most welcome.
Memorial Day weekend has been busy for me. We have our boss on
board. We started in Newport and cruised over to Cuttyhunk for a night at anchor. I had never been there before and it is pretty lovely. It is so green and natural with smooth rocks scattered on the shore. Apparently there is a population of around 60 people! There is no airport there but you can reach the island via ferry or private boat.
Due to the fog we decided to come back to Newport instead of making the trek over to Block Island. Our guests depart this afternoon and I plan on going on a run around Newport. I hope everyone has enjoyed the long weekend! Can't wait to live vicariously through all your blogs! X
